We recieved a notification from our bank in Hawaii that a preauthorized debit was presented for $139.99 which exceeded the balance in the account.
Weeks passed before I could locate a teller at our local branch who found the name of the party who attempted to take funds from our account which were not authorized!
The account was subsequently closed since an overdraft occurred and we wished to prevent Auto Vantage from attempting another withdrawal.
The question remains as to how they got the number of this obscure account. We utilize our present account in Arizona for any business transactions.
To my knowlege we have never received any legitmate correspondence nor phone calls from these people.
