Complaint Review: Autograph Magazine Live
Autograph Magazine Live Autograph Collector magazine Steve Cyrkin Slanderous Lobelous Hate Spewing Internet site Business collusion and racketeering Corona California
*Consumer Comment: Don't they have impartial moderators
Autograph Magazine wentout of business a long time ago yet the owner continued online not publishing a magazine but instead moderating a blog called autograph magazine live the reason behind this was simple he is an ex and or current employee of collectors universe who owns among other things a grading authentication company called PSA DNA.
Steve Cyrkin uses this blog as a bully pullpit to spread slander and libel about every dealer who of autographs who does not submit their items to the company he has a financial interest in - collectors universe and psa dna
His advertisers on the site are ONLY Psa Dna "authenticators" they believe in a scroched earth policy of running down everybody who doesnt pay them for their services regardless of the long standing in the field and previous reputation enjoyed by the dealer.
They have slandered multiple dealers who have done millions in business for decades in the field with perfect better business bureau ratings and other accolades to their name.
Not only do they slander their product and suggest in no uncertain terms these honest dealers of well reknown are selling fakes but they even get very personal suggesting awful things about them personally from the way they dress or smell ! to allegations of them having no business licences, their religious affiliations and more it is clearly a hate driven site.
More to the point it is business collusion and racketeering since they use people with fake names to make such comments in some cases the honest dealers have gone onto the site to rebut the allegations some having done so quite intelligently yet they same three or four pile on making more non sensical claims.
I dont know why more people have not sued them for this although the speeches on the site and even on this site shows that some have sued them before or are in the process of doing so now. Good luck to those folks as litigation is expensive and time consuming.
I would hope with so many entire sites online dedicated to showing this very thing I am mentioning and even other complaints on this site that a government agency or the FBI or someone will get interested in these opportunistic horrible few people spoiling the hobby for the rest of us
I have been a collector for years and years and this mess has only been in existence so long as Psa Dna entered the hobby charging people for their autograph opinions and claiming even on their site that you are ignorant if you dont use them
I myself attend many trade shows where sports stars come and sell their autograph for a fee and in the beggining I was beguiled into using psa dna too although in retrospect I wonder why I wanted someones "opinion" on items I KNEW to be real !? But in those cases they charged me money to tell me my items were fake - items I witnessed being signed in front of me and paid the celebrity athlete a fee to sign !!!
These people are bad its as simple as that and unless someone does something about them they will strangle the fun - the profit and everything else out of this hobby with their rather obvious business collusion.
