Sanjay Joshi makes a game of ripping people off.  He will lie right to your face, he will tell you fantastical stories of his wealth, and once he has got your money, you will not see him again.

One of his favourite scams is to sell high end cars at bargain prices, he will take deposit, usually as much as he can, and "start" the import process.  These cars do not exist, and he will tell you that they are in compliance, or in the unit next door to his business, or in his business partners yard, or "getting work done".  The cars will never show up and you will never see your money.

The next most common scam is to ring businesses that hold accounts with his business (AUTOMOTIVE DIRECT DISTRIBUTORS), and posing as a customer order hundreds, if not thousands of dollars worth of Champion product.  Of course the customer never arrives to collect the product, and once the business tries to return it, they are told they can not.  He has done this to more than one New Zealand parts company.  He uses multiple "burn phones" and does a very good job of impersonating farmers, and mechanics.

His other favourite scam is to make fraudulent insurance claims, one of which he has already been to court over.  He will rip any one off, including his own family.  Not one of his relatives has a good thing to say about him, and plenty of his parents own cash has been "invested".  He will offer you anything you want at a discounted rate, as long as you pay first, and are prepared to wait indefinetly for your goods.

Stay well away from this rip off merchant, as he will only cost you money.

Sanjay Joshi has raised his head again. Please beware people, he is out on bail and up to his old tricks again. This man will only cause you finance suicide and then ring and ask for a favour.
