AutoTronix ripoff Old Bait and Switch Dishonest Don't give them your money Garden Grove California

I went there after seeing an ad in a local throw magazine. When I inquired about a multimedia system they had listed in the ad - I was told that it was low quality equipment and that they would have to special order it if I wanted to leave a deposit and come back.

Not wanting to wait I choose the equipment that the sales person (Malik) suggested, he claimed that it was better quality then the advertised stuff and that he promised that I would be happy with his choices. After haggling over the price I made an appointment for an install - You have to leave a non-refundable deposit on your purchase!

After the installation - I found the install to be of low quality the area where the head liner met the plastic trim was buldging, and they said they couldn't fix it any better, the wireless head phones had serious engine noise, the tv tuner could only lock onto channel 50 and my dome lights no longer worked. Their solution to the problems was to upgrade everything to more expensive equipment!

My solution was to call American Express and refuse to pay!

Find a well known dealer that has certified installers, and make sure you see the type of work the specific installer does. Ask to see the equipment they plan on installing demonstrated before you buy - If they can't - then go somewhere that has a good demo center!
