Avenue Productions Model & Talent Agency Took my money and never sent my children to ANY castings as they promised. FORT LAUDERDALE Florida

I have subscribed with Avenue Productions and find their staff knowledgable and very helpful. I look forward to a long and happy relationship.

I have been signed up with Avenue for about 3 months now and I am very happy with them, I didnt have a comp card so I elected to have one of their photographers do one for me. They recomended a photographer for me if I wanted but said I could go anywhere for them. In the Three months I have been called several times for extra work on burn notice and have been called for a casting for a commercial as well. I think everyone there is very nice and knows how to work the business of what they do. If you want to be some kind of actor or model you need to have pictures done. thats just how it is. Every peice of extra work or a casting requires a certain look/attitude and maybe you just dont fit what that person is looking for. Be patient they are good people, make sure you call once a month and get them the cards they need.

Sounds like that is a problem you may have. However as a current model of Avenue, I would like to rebuttal and place some positive comment about them, because we all know that there is always going to be someone who is unsatisfied. Can't make everyone happy!

Not a ripoff. Maybe for you but not for me and a lot of other people I meet on set of movies, tv series, and commercials. (And also for my brother who is 9 years of age and is in commercials) I am called almost every week for either a movie or a casting. The reason I and so many others get called is because there is 2 things they require of you after receiving your comp cards and signing a non-exclusive contract. 1 You must call every month into the check-in line with your name, # and age (this is simply to remind them of you. You are not the only model or actress!) and 2 you must send 15-20 comp cards every month. Not to hard, but I find that when people complain about this company they failed to do BOTH of those things, and expect to be first on line when it comes time for casting. Also if you are being called you MUST be on time. This requires a lot of flexability and if you don't have the time nor the means to get to the job why spend the money. That would be your problem not Ave Productions. When they receive casting requirements, directors ask for very specific looks, its possible your child didn't fit that, once again not their problem. Maybe your child isn't the "model child" that you think he/she is or zero experience in acting. Well anyway, I'd highly recommend Avenue Productions and love all their employees. They are so curteous and kind.
