I received a letter stating i was the winner of Grand Sweepstakes XV, and sent me the documents i needed to claim such prize.

The documents show all the winning numbers of the entry I supposedly entered, official form numbers, addresses of corresponding companies throughout letter, copy of lump sum check awarded and so on.

They also required a processing fee 0f $12.99 to be sent to ANC (Award Notification Commission) with Larry Hourd as Director Representative

While a quick read of the letter seems to state that you must send in $12.99, if you read it carefully the $12.99 is for an "addendum of Premium offer".  An additional offer to the sweepstakes (which is what the letter is about) of a $2500.00 gift certificate for up to 75% off WONrewards.com online merchandise.  Again read carefully because you are not getting a gift certificate for $2500.00.  You are getting a certificate for $2500.00 in discounts on overpriced merchandise (junk) you can buy from their website.

The whole thing is worded in such a way as to confuse and be very deceptive.  You are not required to send any money to enter the 1 million or 2 million (different letters for each amount) dollar sweepstakes.

The winning sweepstakes number is pre-chosen and if no one returns the winning number then they do not give the prize away....who could have guessed. Instead they offer (in my letter) two first prizes of $1000.00, two second prizes of $500.00, ten $100.00 third prizes and nineteen $50.00 fourth prizes. A total of $4,950.00, a far cry from 1 or 2 million and probabally much less than they collect from unsuspecting consumers who pay the $12.99 for their "discounted" junk.

If you get this don't send any money, just sign and return to enter the sweepstakes if you wish.
