We bought a group of  2011 American Silver Eagles from eBay user aydinjewelry_preciousmetals  Feb 2011 from the eBay website.

We noticed we were getting out bid quite often by the same buyers over and over. At least 80 times in a one week span.

I finally got fed up and said I'm going to win at least one of the items to see why this seller that isnt even a coin dealer is getting so much more for their coins than the legitimate coin dealer that's been in business for over 30 years.   I thought that was odd.

I place a bid for 20% above the spot of silver thinking that maybe that was the true price of silver?

Long story short I won the bid for 18% above the going rate of a silver eagle.  I well understand that these coins trade about $3 - $3.50 over spot.  

I paid aydinjewelry_preciousmetals well over $5 a coin over spot thinking I was getting something special.

What I got was a bunch of banged up coins in a box not protected and basically scattered. \  Minded I paid well above spot for these and bought 100 total coins totaling $3700+

They claim in their ad that they ship with Signature Confimation with the USPS fully insurned.

They did no ship them with Signature Confirmation as stated, they send them delivery confirmed the cheap way using some type of online stamp service.

Basically if these coins ended up getting stolen from my mail box I would have been out of luck.

I messaged them at least 3 times over a week period to try to get some type of resolution.

I got a canned response stating what the mint ships to us is what we ship to you, what part of that do you not underrstand?    Excuse me?  I got crap coins and that's how I was treated?

I simply wanted good quality coins at a fair price nothing more nothing less.

I got neither.    I give aydinjewelry_preciousmetals  a call, there's a man with an Arab sounding voice stating that his brother handles the coins and he's not there.

This went on for three more days.   At this point I'm pretty pissed.

How could aydinjewelry_preciousmetals run that many listings on eBay and not be there to answer calls from customers that are paying way more than the coin is worth, especially when there's a problem?

I was so pissed I went to my local coin dealer on Friday (Feb 18th) 2011.

My local coin store here in NYC said due to them being in such banged up shape they would offer 30 cents below spot.    I asked the local dealer if they were in the state they left the mint how much would he offer.  He said $1.25 over spot.

As soon as left my local coin store, I called aydinjewelry_preciousmetals and the guy that answered said something in a foreign language and hung up the phone!

I feel so ripped off it's not even funny.

From my understading they are Iranian and simply do not care.

I'm not a racist or anything, I hope these people are not using metals to fund those terrorist activities with our hard earned US money.

The way they are running up the silver on eBay, one must have to ask what are they really doing?  

IMO I think they are trying to put the US sellers that have been in business for many years out of business and create their own monopoly on eBay. 

When they finally do that everyone WE ALL will pay THEIR HIGH PRICES get crap coins, to top it off who knows what that money they gained from ME and YOU are really going to be used for.

I've given them a NEGATIVE FEEDBACK on the way they've treated me a good paying customer.

If anyone reads this and feels the same    BID EXACTLY WHAT SPOT IS AND NOT A DIME MORE OR SLIGHTLY LESS THAN SPOT, OR BETTER YET DON'T BUY THEIR COINS ON EBAY PERIOD.

IF ENOUGH PEOPLE READ THIS THEY WILL EVENTUALLY EITHER HAVE TO CLEAN UP THEIR ACT ON eBay or go out of business.

Hopefully everyone will agree with me and voice their opinions here.

I recently bought a 500 coin lot from another seller on eBay with about 4900 feedback that seems to care about their customers.   

As soon as I get that 500 lot box in hand I'll report about that seller.  

 So far that other seller called me to thank me for buying coins from them and was very professional about it.    That got me very excited can't wait for that FED EX truck on Tuesday!

If all goes well ALL MY COIN INVESTMENT MONEY WILL ALL GO TO THAT OTHER SELLER NOT aydinjewelry_preciousmetals
