I received the below listed information by email from a company stating they found me on Monster.com   I do not know if this is a valid company or a scam, if anyone has any information about this company please contact me at (((ROR redacted)))  It sounds like a great opportunity but when checking their website at www.b-tan.com I found numerous spelling errors and grammer issues, which I do not believe a professional company would make.

Additional information regarding B-Tan LLC

AUTHOR: Mycaell - (USA)

Being extremely concerned that I had actually fallen for a "too good to be true" job offer... I contacted the website where I had originally posted my desire for employment.  I was very surprised at their quick response and glad that I made the decision to look into this company.  I hope everyone reads this and avoids giving these potential criminals any identifying information.  I was really dumb and they now have my address and phone number... hopefully if I just ignore future contacts they will just go away.

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. The email you are inquiring about is called an 'email spoof' and is pretending to be from an employer using Monster. Please note these email spoofs

are not authorized by or sent through Monster. They are received by both Monster nd non-Monster members and are the result of a general spam distribution list.  This e-mail spoof uses the Monster name to add credibility to the fraudulent offer. Often times a spoofed email mirrors the Monster website or uses fake Monster domain information.

The purpose of this spoofed Monster email is to engage the email recipient in a money laundering scam. It is in your best interest to disregard the email and immediately refrain from any contact with the senders of the email. If you did begin correspondence and have started the required financial transactions, it is recommended that you contact local law enforcement immediately to request the appropriate steps to absolve yourself from any wrong doing.
