I was first contacted by Mari Rodriguez on July 31st that I was the second prize winner of their Annual Baby Photo Contest. My prize was two airline tickets from Southwest Airlines. I was very suprised, because I had given up on this contest after I saw how many people were cheating. I emailed her back thanking her and she sent me another email congratulating me.

I went to the site to see my baby's picture on the site and saw where my baby was'nt listed anywhere. I emailed her telling her I went to the site, but did'nt see his picture anywhere. She emailed me back saying the 2nd prize was a girl and I had stated in my email that my baby was a boy and to confirm. I emailed her back telling her that my baby is a boy, I was wondering why I did'nt see my son's picture on the site, and how did they get me mixed up with someone else. She apologized for the mix up, asked for my son's name, and said she would get in touch with the technicians to see what was going on.

Shortly after that she emailed me back telling me that the photo for the first prize winner was wrong, that my son was the first prize winner of the $1000 savings bond from Webster Bank, to send my son's picture again for the technicians to post it on the site, and told me to keep spreading the word... that my son was indeed a winner. She also went on to say that they had taken down all the pictures while the technicians were working on it. I went to the site and saw where they had taken the pictures down.

The next day when I went back to the site, I saw the same winners. I emailed her back and never got a reponse. I called her at the number listed on the site and she was a little rude about it basically saying there was'nt nothing she could do about it....that it would be unfair to the other winners. I mentioned about how so many people were cheating in this contest and she said that the technicians noticed that. She called back to apologize about being a little rude, but still said there was'nt nothing she could do and how unfair it would be to the REAL winners and sorry that it turned out to be like that.

Was'nt she being unfair to me after getting my hopes up? I thought when contests made mistakes like these, they made it up to you somehow. This is so embarrassing after I told so many friends and family. I had mentioned that to her after she got me mixed up the first time.
