In 2006 my husband and I stopped at Baker-Jackson Nissan in search for a "used" dependable car. After searching, we found a Toyota Camry in excellant condition with a fair price. We met a dealer by the name of Chris who was very nice and assisted us well. Since we didnt plan on buying a car that day, we didnt have an actual downpayment, or proper documentation. We did all the paperwork with the promise that we would return first thing in the morning with a downpayment. The very next morning we arrived at the dealship where I gave my salesman a downpayment of 1,500 as we waited for the final processing. Hours later,I noticed a woman test driving the vechical I was purchasing, I questioned Chris and he went to the back and told the other salesman that that particular car was the process of being sold.(according to him) About an hour and a half later after leaving my husband and I alone for a while, our salesman, Chris breaks the news to us that without him knowing, another salesman sold our car to the woman who was test driving it, according to him, the woman had been there the day before and was interested in the car, and they were negotiating.

I was very uspset and asked if that woman had a put a down payment to hold that car, as I had already given my money order as a down payment. He could'nt answer the question. After almost walking out of there (which I should of) Chris goes and speaks with his manager, Mr. Curtis Josey, to see if there is anything they could do for us, after apologizing telling me over and over again that he would accomodate me how ever he could. After going to the back to speak with the Sales Manager, Curtis, Chris comes back to us and offers us an even better deal, for the same price of the Camary, he would sales us a 2005 Mitzi. Endevor. After looking at the SUV, I was happy with the deal, I thought afer all they put us through, it was a fair deal. Process for our new Endeover had began, my sales man and the finance manager had advised me to call my current insurance and switch it over to the Endeover, I was given the VIN number, year of vehical, etc. I even made a payment to my insurance, over the phone with a credit card, in order to make the change. Everthing was set, but after reviewing our payments, our interest rates were pretty high.

The finance dept. suggested I get a co-signer to lower my rates, but it wasnt recommended. I called my father and asked him he could co-sign and he agreed, I then told my salesman I would have to go and pick up my father. I left my paper work and of course my money order, and proof of insurance with the new vehical information. I was told that while I picked up my father they begin to detail my new SUV. I was very excited! Not even an hour passes and I return with my father. About an hour after being there, I was told again that the Endevor had been sold. How was the Endover even being looked at if it was suppose to be getting detailed??

At this point I was FURIOUS, my husband and father refused to talk to anyone, they just wanted to Get Out Of There!! I did not want to leave without speaking to the manager, I spoke with Curtis Josey, and was unable to get straight answers, he blamed everything on the salesman Chris, which I thought was very unprofessional. After all that, I was told that they would offer me an even better deal on another car. I said NO WAY, I refuse to spend anymore time there, and no matter how good of a deal,I just wanted my money back. I was then told that it was in a safe and only the accounting person had a key so I would have to wait until Monday to get it. When I went back on Monday, there some salesmen in a huddle whispering and laughing as is they pulled one on me, who knows how many customers they have done this to!! This dealership is turning into another Land Mark !!!!Stay away, save yourself a HUGE HEADACHE!!!!
