The promoter of the Balboa Music Festival, Steve Gable and associates, engaged in fraudulent and unscrupulous business practices and defrauded the public by selling high priced reserved VIP seating to the public but when the public arrived, seating was not reserved and general admission ticket holders were allowed to take "unassigned" VIP seating.

Organizers failed to address my repeated requests to be provided with my assigned seats.  I was told by one organizer to sit at a VIP reserved table, and he even brought out additional chairs for my party.  Later in the day I was told to relinquish these seats and organizers refused to provide my paid for reserved seats. I was offered a refund by a woman affiliated with the promoter in exchange for giving up my seats, but when I insisted that this be put in writing one of the organizers became enraged and directed security to forcibly remove me from the event like I was a common criminal. 

This was very demeaning and humiliating considering the fact that I had paid $476 for 3 reserved seats in VIP Platinum.  I was not the only person that experienced this dehumanizing treatment. A crowd gathered outside the ticket booth, all with the same complaint; reserved seating unmarked and unavailable. To make matters worse the ticket booth staff closed the kiosk windows and mocked our frustration.

Promoters should immediately address this matter and provide me, and all others who did not receive assigned seating, a refund. We were  blatantly cheated out of our hard earned money.  I also request  a written apology.
