I just learned in a painful way that being naive and signing for a membership at Bally Fitness Center as a gift for my wife would cost me a three years of commitment for a fixed monthly withdraw of 29.00 form my credit card. Since my wife and I recently got separated, I attempted and was not allowed to cancel her contract which is under my membership. I can not believe this type of business practice is still allowed, where is the consumer protection when we most need them? Definetely these are tricks and scams to steal from the people that believe in faith and fairness practices...Please let me know if there is a class action against these guys....

I want to join....I paid them over $2,000 and they continue to ask for more money...My membership is paid in full and they still are trying to get me to pay my dues upfront for the year and not allow me to transfer my membership as agreed to in my contract. They are crooks....Please anybody let me know of any lawsuits....I am a member and would love to join in.
