Bally's Total Fitness Bally's Executive Office- s- Kept Charging Me 17 Months Cancelled Membership -$384.32 Took Advantage of Me Disabled Man, After Providing Doctor's & Legal/Judge Documentation Washington, District of Columbia

Bally's Total Fitness - This company is a RIP-OFF COMPANY.  As a professional in business (20 years working as an Administrative Assistant with a sales and marketing background - plus, 3 of those years working as an Office Manager; while working 4 years in 3 months in mergers and acquisitions), this company is nothing more than just GREEDY CRIMINALS.

In March of 2010 in Lacey, Washington- I went into the Bally's and told them to cancel my membership.  BOTH representatives indicated that my membership was cancelled... and that was because there was no Bally's in the area of Seattle that I was moving to.  One is clear out near Issaquah, and the other too far south.  I was going to be living near Green Lake.

I happen to be a disabled man - and it's reasons like that that cause my disability.  Frustration - nothing happening such as JUSTICE in this COUNTRY on my end.  I finally noticed in November of 2011 that my bank account showed that monthly payments were coming out to pay for a Bally's membership.  I ordered bank statements dating back about 2 years.  I went through all the records and it was about $423+ dollars.  I called Bally's and they said my account was taken over by L.A. Fitness.  Then, L.A. Fitness took 2 payments out for December of 2011 and January of 2012.  I called L.A. Fitness and told them that it wasn't correct... and so they reversed the charges.

I then found another # for Bally's Total Fitness, and was finally able to reach someone, They said to send the request in writing entering why my membership was to be cancelled.  I sent the first letter to their Washington, DC office on April 20th.  I called back and they said that I need to send the letter again but with my doctor's note explaining why I needed to get the refund back.  I had to schedule a doctor's appointment just to get my doctor to write a letter on my behalf explaining very minor details of my disability, and I included that letter, along with my letter, and also along with Judge Martz's "fully favorable" decision of my disability and resent all of that to their Washington DC office again (Ballys Total Fitness, Attn:  Cancellation Dept, POB 96241, Washington, DC 20090-6241).

I finally called back today- still expecting my refund of $384.32 (which already includes the $50 cancellation fee), and they said that my membership was taken over by L.A. Fitness in December of last year.  Obviously, this was a circle where we kept going around and around on, because I actually told them that L.A. Fitness already reimbursed me the funds that they took out of my account for December, 2001 and January, 2012.  I told them that they wanted the request for cancellation (and reimbursement) in writing - so, I sent it.  I told them that they requested a note from my doctor, and I included that along with a note from the judge indicating my disability and the amount to be refunded... and I sent that.  

After speaking with a representative of Bally's today (June 13, 2012), the representative wasn't able to help me and so I asked for his supervisor.  The supervisor got on the phone and I asked for his supervisor.  The guy was a total jerk.  I told him the situation and he said that they're not going to give me a refund and that no refund is due and he said that they never received the letter.

I told him that was rubbish and this is how they put their own LIVES of their employees at danger.  Does anyone know what I can do to them?  I can make Michael Douglas in Falling Down and Al Pacino in Scarface look like angels compared to what I can do to those greedy creeps.  I asked him if he really wanted his business to be burnt down to the ground... and the news about Bally's Total Fitness to be indicated as a RIP-OFF company of ALL companies.... their name spread all around the internet and their business to take even more of a nose-dive.  After all - with 20 years in sales and marketing and helping 3-4 companies grow... I can surely DESTROY their business left and right.... and literally- with gasoline and a flame (or two, or three)... because frankly - I DON'T care.

The "...and justice for all" speech in this country is PATHETIC.  There IS NOT JUSTICE "for all".  This is a crock of crap.  THIS IS WHY people go postal... especially like going into a Bally's Fitness Club and blowing all their employees away - as some members just have to go even though it was not their fault.  There is such a thing called "Casualties of War".... and there is also such a thing as "Casualties of Business"... and I told Bally's Total Fitness that they were not only putting their business in danger, but they were putting their employees' lives in danger.  

This is why harsher JUSTICE MUST be carried out - even though I do believe in the line "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord.".  The Lord will have His vengeance against them, but for now... I am going to have my vengeance on all of them, because it's companies like Bally's Total Fitness that can literally destroy a man's sanity.

No- I'm NOT "insane", not a "lunatic", not "crazy", not any of that.  I am a man that deserves JUSTICE in this country and I am going to get it whether anyone likes it or not.


Period.
