Banfield Pet Hospital Incompetent dentist Brick NJ

Took my healthy and playful 7 yr old yorkie in for dental cleaning. They called me 4hrs. later to tell me she died.

They said possible undiagnosed heart problem or blood clot.

After reserching and speaking with other vets, she either rec'd too much anesthesia or was under anestheaia too long(she was only 5 lbs). Dogs that small should have dental procedures done in two visits, so anesthesia time is short.

Also one vet said that a dog that age should have had an echocariogram prior to procedure to check for any heart problems.

I rec'd no apology or sympathy card. I miss her terribly!
