Bank of America or Nations Bank the business that doesn't give a d**n Nationwide

Bank of America and Nations Bank are awful! In 2000, I had an experience where I made an ATM deposit. A couple of days later, I tried to get money out of my account and they said I did not have an account.

So I called "customer service" and they said I deposited an empty envelpoe in the ATM. I said this was not true and they said there was nothing I could do - they automatically close all accounts where anything like that happens.

I went to the local branch and they refunded me all my money (charging no fees or removing funds for the empty "deposit")and said nothing about the incident - they did not even seem to know! So I thought that was it!

Ha! About a month ago, my mother tells me something is popping up on her bank report. Apparently, Bank of America reported this to a company caleed ChexHelp, that is a type of credit agency for banks. They reported it as fraud and I did not even find out for 2 years! And because my account was piggybacked to my mothers while I was in college, they are saying she is responsible too - Even though she's never had an ATM card in her life!

When she called them they refused to remove the report from her credit, saying (once again) that there was nothing they could do - we would just have to wait 5 years until it fell off.

Now we have to open an investigation through this ChexHelp agency which promises to be many headaches. So be very careful when dealing with those crooks - they don't warn you when they report on you.

If you get turned down due to this false type of report you are entitled to a free report from the agency http://www.chexhelp.com and they have to investigate false claims - it is the law.

Bank of America customers - get out while you can. I have sinced moved my account to another bank - and my problems with my checking account all ended once I left Bank of America. Thay are AWFUL!
