I have become a victim of Bank of America unfair foreclosure practices.  After trying and meeting all the criteria for the modification program I was continuously denied. Now my home is placed in foreclosure.  I called Bank of America many times asking about programs and other option besides foreclosure. They constantly told me I had no option but to pay the balance. During this whole process Bank of America never once told me I could do a short sale or deed in lieu, by this being my first home I did not know to asked. The only reason I found out about short sale is because I was reading a mangize and saw an article on foreclosure and in the article they mentioned a company called crediabality. When I called the orgnization they informed me of these choices because I have a FHA loan.  Then I contacted Bank of America with the info I received and they told me it was too late to do a short sell because my property has a sell date of 06/28/2011. Well after the news aired today 6/14/2011 about the investigation of Bank of America for their foreclosures of FHA loans I decided to call back and not give up. This time when I called back and asked about a short sell they informed me of a form I  never  receive when I first had gotten my loan to be able to short sell was told someone will call me in five days to get my approval to participate in such programs as modifications and short sales. my biggest question is why did Bank of America never tell me this before when I was trying for over a year to get a modification. Bank of America continue to deny me until my home was placed into foreclosure and then until now did not even give me the option of a short sell and even now I am scared this is another way to keep giving me the run around until they sell my property I havent given up yet I will like help with this nightmare.

BOA Home Loan Modification Fraud

AUTHOR: anne - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 20, 2011

Hey,

I am in need of people in  N.C. & S.C. that are going through the same problem with the loan modification with BOA.  Its been exhausting but not to give up. I am starting a class action against them.  I have a lawyer ready to work on this, I just need more people.

Thanks
Ann
