Bank Of America excessive overdraft abuses and manipulations ripoff Newberg Oregon

November 25th I requested a transfer of funds from one financial institution to my account into Bank Of America.
Confirmation came from the financial institution from where I transferred money from my account to Bank of America.

I wrote a check to my mortgage company for the amount of the mortgage and it was processed the same day as the transfer confirmation. My wife had talked to the branch manager earlier to request that they honor the mortgage check because it would be tight and that if an overdraft occured we would be glad to pay it because it was important. The manager agreed.

A day later I checked my account and found that the bank returned the mortgage check and charged me a overdraft fee when in fact the money had been deposited or transfered. In other words there was in fact suppose to be funds to cover it, how-ever Bank of Amercia conveniently did not aknowledge the deposit until the next day so they could take advantage of the overdraft.

I was discredited with the mortgage company. This is not the first time this has occured. The daily status of my account gets shuffeled daily to reflect the most favorable advantage to Bank of Amercia for opportunities to charge overdraft fees of $35

Lets understand that a more than reported percentage of citizens in this country are in jepardy financially. As a single income provider for my family I can not afford to use credit cards and appearantly I cannot afford to live on what I make.

As citizens I really believe we must all turn off our TV sets and organize against the greatest terrorist threat to our homeland security- THE BANKS-PAY DAY LOAN SHOPS-FINANCE COMPANIES-CREDIT CARD COMPANIES-INSURANCE COMPANIES AND THE LIKES. Many of these institutions have corperate campuses that rival Disnyland, CFO's and Administrators that are paid rediculous salaries, and their lobies are in the hip pockets of all of our polaticians both democrats and republicans.

It's time for a new Amercian Revoltion by placing a citizens review board in charge of every financial institution especially when foreclosures on families are enacted against the weak and disadvantaged. Action is required now.
