Bank One, N.A. rip off Employees are allowed to make mistakes at their customer's expense screwed others too Mesa, Arizona

I moved from LA to AZ in Feb. I went into this branch to make a deposit and was told that I had to open an AZ account. I had to close LA account and write a check to open AZ. I left a few hundred dollars in the LA account to cover any traveling expenses that hadn't posted yet and would transfer the remaininig balance in a few days. I went to the branch and asked the "Customer Service" rep what my balance was. She told me $1291.47.

My register was only about $100 off so I just assumed that I hadn't deducted a few receipts. A few days later I get an overdraft notice in the mail for $1347. Not only did the Customer Service Rep give me the wrong balance, the bank was charging me fees. They claim that they had no knowledge of what charges were still coming through. When I opened the new AZ account, I was issued a new debit card; however, they didn't transfer any of the funds from LA nor activate the card to the AZ account.

So now I am STILL overdrawn in LA and AZ and receiving letters from an attorney's office. I tried speaking with the branch manager and she told me that unfortunately, her employee made a mistake and they are allowed to do that! I told her that the branch should take the loss and clear my account as the mistake was BANK ONE'S not my own. I told her that at any time the current balance and available balance is available and mine were never the same when I called telephone banking. As it sits now, I am in Check Systems in 2 states because of what "Bank None" has done to me.
