Baptist Memorial Hospital Ripoff crazed patient urinates all over others in cramped overcrowed hospital conditions! Southaven Mississippi

My doctor tells me to get to the emergency room when I report chest pain and numbness over the phone. The closest hospital is Baptist Memorial in Southaven, Mississippi.

When I arrive with my Mother we are casually interviewed and after some time we are escorted to a storage area. Inside a cramped little room we see a man lying in a bed that is shoved up against the wall. Also in the room are boxes of supplies, rolls of paper towels,mops,brooms and other items.

I don't quite understand what is going on when a tiny hospital stretcher is delivered to the room. The nurse tells me that this is to be my room. She gives me a hospital gown and tells me to undress and get on the stretcher. All of this occurs in mid afternoon.

I receive practically no care until well after midnight.It is hot in the cramped closet and the other patient is crying out something about his motorcycle.

By 3AM my wife is with me. Now there are three people and two beds inside a storage closet at a hospital along with lots of supplies. Suddenly the other patient starts screaming and jumps out of his bed. He is completly out of his mind. He pulls out his p***s like a garden hose and starts spraying urine all over the room. Urine is getting on me and my wife and all over the beds and the floor.

Outside the room the hallways were filled with people lying on beds and some lying on the floor. The entire area was a wreck and the hospital staff was unable to control the situation.

No one was getting any help. The staff at Baptist hospital could not handle the situation and they did not seem to care.I have never told anyone about this until now.

For all we went through we got to pay about $9,000.00. Now and then Baptist Hospital runs these commercials about how wonderful their services are. They talk about how professional they are and how much they care. Don't you believe it!
