Barbara Ann Folsom Way Out West Furniture and More Unethical Business - Sells Damaged, Cheap Yard Sell Type Furniture -Sold My Money Durant Oklahoma

I purchased several items over the phone from this business that Barbara Folsom owns in Durant. These were refinished items and I specifically asked if they were antiques and I was told yes they were. I asked if they were solid oak type wood and not laminated or particle board and I was told "yes solid wood". My total purchase was over $3,000. With just purchasing a new home for my grandmother I was wanting to decorate it for her with furniture she would be familiar with and from her era. I sent an employee to her store to pick up the items along with the cash. When he returned with the items and began unloading them into my grandmothers house. I was taken by surprise and extremely disappointed by the cheap WalMart type items I had received. First off these were not antiques and were not solid wood at all. They were cheap screwed together items that cam out of a box and were than assembled and refinished. Particle wood and laminate. Flimsy sh*t is what I received. One of the pieces got a little water on it from the rain while carrying it into the house and the paint immediately started coming off. I did not hesitate to contact Barbara and explain to her how disappointed I was with her crappy furniture and her unethical business practices. I demanded my money back and told her I was returning the furniture. She told me she was sorry that happened, I must have gotten another customers furniture and that she would send somebody to pickup the furniture. I waited over 2 weeks for that someone to show up. They called and rescheduled the pickup more than 9 times and I finally loaded the crap back up into the trailer and attempted to return it to her store and was abruptly told that too much time had passed from the date of my purchase and that the items could not be returned. I became a little angry and started telling her how immoral and unethical she was and she told me to remove myself from her property or she was calling the police and pressing charges against me for harassment. I said all I want is my money back and her statement to me was "a refund for what? that furniture did not come from me; I don't sell crap like that!" I handed her the receipt and she told me that was not her hand writing. I have filed charges against this company with the civil courts and and warning each and every person that even considers doing business with this business or lady to steer clear or her unethical practices. She is a thief. Barbara Ann Folsom is a SCAM and a THIEF.
