Barclay Construction, Arnott "Anthony" Barclay Anthony worked for my company as sub-contractor, he took money for projects and then did not pay his subs. I ended up paying for several jobs twice as a result of his dishonesty. He also took advances for projects and did not put the money towards the project not did he pay the money back. After it was clear that this was no accident Anthony dissappeared, will not return calls. Austin Texas

Anthony had worked on several project with us under another contractor, when that contractor left town we worked with Anthony direct. He asked for an advance for a project and we gave him that in good faith. Then at the end of the project after he was paid in full and still owing the initial advance he disappeared and I was getting calls left and right from his subs who were never paid.

Anthony just dissappeared; he didn't answer the phone, or emails and we haven't seen him since. I essentially paid for the job twice and then I lost the trust of the client who was very unhappy with the quality of work. There is no professionalism in this gentleman, he looked me in the eye and lied knowing he had never paid the subs. Anthony puts the "con" in contractor.
