Barclays Bank Failure to comply with Consumer Credit Act of 1974, Dubai, Saudi Arabia

I've been dealing with Barclays UAE (branch of Barclays PLC thus subject to laws and regulations of England and Wales) since 28th January 2013 regarding a dispute for unauthorised credit card transactions when my card was stolen on holiday.

Since then i have called them 11 times and made 8 online banking messages and only received one call (28th March) telling me the dispute has been awarded in the banks favour.

I asked for copies of the unauthorised transactions. Upon reviewing the unauthorised transactions i found that none of the signatures remotely matched my credit card signature and to add insult to injury 10 of the 14 authorised transactions were made after i contacted Barclays via internet banking stating my card was stolen and to cancel my card (time stamp proves this).

I have repeatedly stated Barclays by law must comply with the Consumer Act of 1974 which means fraudulent use of credit cards can not be charged to the customer but none of the customer service advisers seem to have even heard of it...

They are now asking me to pay the 15,178.15AED (4,132.70USD) unauthorised transactions as well as the interest accrued from this, currently 1,031.14AED (280.76USD).

Help me stop them

Been going through same thing with them since 2007 and they still wont let it go  they wrongfully report non existance debt on and off my credit report. Got them in court and would love to get others affd stating you too have had similar issue so I can stop this crazy company  Kjacklaw1@gmail
