Barewire Ltd Computer repair by phone Dorking Surrey United Kingdom

I called Verizon for assistance and some how got transferred to Barewire. For 299.00 dollars they would clean mycomputer of any problems and increase itsl speed. I gave them my credit card number!! The first time I had a problem I called and they told me I did in the fire wall and that I had a trogan horse. For 299.00 they could repair the damage that the virus  would cause. When I asked about the contract I had paid 299.00 forl I was told it didn't cover the firewall and I was about to loose my computer. Because I was over 65 they would do it for 199.00. I have a Mac and I knew he was lying as Mac has had no known virues. I hung up, never heard from them again and after 90 days my computer is working well.

My money is gone, I just am trying to prevent ssomeone from doing the same thing.
