Barrett Group Executive Placement, Job Counseling Providence Rhode Island

I was given a lead to the Barrett Group via the Minnesota Work Force Center Ad.

I was pretty much desperate, trying to find a position, as a Senior Software Developer / Operations Specialist / Designer.  I was downsized from a high paying position, and had no luck in finding another position.

So I found the Barrett Group, in RI.  What they did:

Diane Zarick was my initial contact person.  She was very agressive, assured me that the Barrett Group could help me with my job search, and that they were willing to cousel me for three years, and that they would be instrumental in helping to find me an 'executive' position.  For this I paid over $10,000.

Then I was assigned to Larry DiBoni.  This guy is just a grunt.  He made a half-assed job of rewriting my resume. 

For what I was promised, all I received was a bunch of word doc's and Excel spread sheets.

Here is the sum total of the Barrett Group:  Pick 100 companies from a list (that you choose).  Then they send you an Excell spread sheet of the companies, the CEO's and the corporate phone number.  You are supposed to call them, and set up 'informational interviews'.  From this you are supposed to generate leads, build a network, and job offers.  ---- It's a scam ----

When I wasn't satisfied with Larry, I contacted (believe it or not) Waffles Natusch.  Who is absolutly clueless. 

I was reassigned to Paula Avena.  When I was on the phone with her, I could hear the sounds of her typing, surfing, and the 'dings' that Windows makes.

I was Ripped Off!!!
