Bastrop Powersports rebate ripoff fraudulant untruthful and sneaky Bastrop Texas

I purchased an atv 8 months ago (October 2005) not expecting a $500.00 rebate from Polaris. Two weeks after the purchase, I watched a polaris commercial on the outdoor channel, stating that all Polaris atv's purchased during this time period will recieve a $500.00 rebate.

After approaching the owener of Bastrop Powersports, Robert Hoady, and the sales manager Link, about this promotion, I was indeed suppose to recieve a 500.00 rebate due to the purchase of my 2004 500 h*o atv. Since then, I have been given the "Run Around" by the owner of Bastrop Powersports, Robert Hoady. I have had several phone conversations with Robert without closure on this situation. Robert stated that since the atv was sold to me at, or close to dealer cost I was not elibible for the the full rebate, but will recieve a close to $500.00 store credit. Mr. Hoady also stated that Polaris would issue the rebate to the dealer, and then forwarded to the customer. To date, I have had at least 2 phone conversations per month with Robert Hoady about the rebate on the atv, and each conversation ends with a "I'm still checking on the return". Per phone conversation with Robert Hoady's wife this morning (June 2006), They are not going to issue me the rebate. Terrible business, and customer service.
