Bay Identity Management, Sentura Creations "Receptionist needed in crazy work environment" if you see this ad its probably sentura creations and its a scam!! Stockton California

Wow! I wish I had looked up this company before I wasted a week of my life thinking I could 'drop bottles' on every human possible. Sentura creations has great smelling fragrances but the way that they go about their marketing strategies is extremely dangerous for young girls who apply for the job ad " receptionist needed a.s.a.p."

I went through the agonizing 6 hr 2nd interview and 6hr orientation without knowing how my training would be paid. I was told that I could earn money out on the field promoting their wholesale fragrances. So I decided to stay because I thought it would be more than just selling bottles on the street. I figured that this company would have many different marketing strategies for selling their products such as through stores and bussiness's. But I was wrong!

Through out the whole 6 week training program you must sell and the commission you receive is your earned income. They also give out bonuses to keep the bottles droppin, but all in all its illegial to employ someone and NOT PAY THEM Legally WITH A PAY CHECK!!! I was never asked to fill out a W2 tax form or even give my SSN! I felt suspecious but I really wanted to have my own bussiness.

But the catch is that you always have to sell even when you are a manager!!! WHy? because in order to get through training you have to sell on the streets and train 6-8 others to sell on the streets! Stockton california is not exactly the safest place for young women to be walking around asking every person they see if they want a spray.

I quit yesterday because the car that I was in was stopping at truck stops and the owner of the truck stop told us we had to leave because its dangerous for 5 young women to be at a truck stop with all of the merchendise that we had (six bottles each)!!! Also this company did not have us insured or any way to keep an eye on us! the only communication we had was through cell phones and when your lying dead, robbed and rapped in the gutter of a truck stop, I dont think Bay Identity management or Sentura creations would say they had any involvement in it.

My question is, How can it be possible for a company to let young women go out on the streets with this product and sell in bad areas that are known for the worse crimes in broad daylight!!! I am absolutly disgruntled and furious about wasting a week of my life, not earning any money for the week of training I participated in, and putting myself in danger of being killed, mugged, or rapped just to drop a bottle of perfume!!!

Another thing that pi**ed me off is how they lie about the sales pitch. THey tell us to lie and say that we are students in a contest and that all of the money from the purfume and cologne goes towards our books and tuition. So if you see one of these guys or girls tell them to get lost!! Its just a scam to make money!!

I guess the owner of Sentura creations LARRY HAUN use to be homeless and sold anything he could get his hands on for wholesale. He got rich off of that and decided to go into the fragrance industry. I just wish I had found out about it sooner. THen I would have not missed a week at my legal paying job and I would not be mad!!!

I hope other people get to read this before they make the same mistake. THis may be the right job for some and they get really rich too, but I m not a liar and I dont like to put myself in harms way and I refuse to run a business that does not pay atleast minimum wage for training because it is illegial to do that. I also could not run a bussiness that promoted itsproduct solely on the dangerous streets with young girls selling the product.

If I had the money I would sue them because its ethically and by law illegal for Sentura creations, Bay IDENTITY management or any other part of this business to not pay atleast minimum wage during the training program and to make their "so called employees" to slang on the streets and lie to innosent people just to drop a bottle. There was also massive sexual harrassment and racist slurs that I did not feel comfortable with during my orientation and 1st day of training.
