Don't drive for this company unless you don't mind never getting a paycheck.........Don't drive for this company..Don't drive for this company..Don't drive for this company

Equipment is old and the trailer I had was unlicensed with no permits. They lied about everything, when I insisted on them getting legal, they wouldn't ~~~~ So I Quite ~~~~. They never paid me all the $$$$ I was due and still owe me around 3K. They try and make you run on your own $$$$ and pay for there tolls WT Tickets ect... Then come pay voucher time, they put in advances that were never given to the driver, and confuse the the trips paperwork and say they never got the receipts, so your paycheck is not correct. ( Now I have the Labor Board involved ). Again, They lied about everything. When I had an issue they would promises to call me back and never ... never... never did. Just an absolute nightmare experience, that put my finances into a tailspin. The 4 office people including owner, were rude and disrespectful from the beginning. Unbelievable how they thumb there nose at the law!!!
They run there loads on % of gross, but never give you the gross! Unbelievable Experience.

$1000.00 a week???

AUTHOR: Golf9iron - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 15, 2011

$1000.00 a week??? I have my W-2 from you that states $1337.50 for the whole month of December Which I worked for you in 2010.....and drove around 10,000 miles. Thats 0.13 cents a mile! Please send my remaining $3,000.00!!!!! Plus interest and pentalties!!!Now we're getting somewhere!I don't need training, I have 2 million miles logged! I was running a team run with Jim. (remember) ? Thanks for the acknowledgment that there was a problem with not having a permit on the trailer....now we're really getting somewhere!Well let me refresh your memory on the permits and licence plate. Prior to leaving with a load of onions from Delta Co, to Jersey City NJ, I spent half the day on the 9th of December waiting for Lori to get the proper documentation, and she never did!Lori and Steve the GM, said go ahead and go and we will fax the Permits and Temporary Registration to you. After many days, daily phone calls and 6,000 miles later I still didn't have the paperwork. I arrived back in Pueblo, CO at your yard on the 27th of December and spent the entire day .................( which was supposed to be my day off at home for X-mas with my family) ...............trying to get permitted. Again, Steve and Lori and Mikki and you Michelle all said continue without the permits and licence.I wrote down on my log for the 27th of Dec in the Driver's Vehicle Inspection Report.....Trailer R101 has no License Plate or Permit!Check it out!I was worried sick about what was illegally happening at Bayless Trucking. Now I realize I am running an illegal operation for Bayless TruckingI knew I would get red tagged somewhere along the way on my trip to Washington State.Reluctantly I continued and 20 miles north of Pueblo a State Trooper pulled me over for no licence plate. Trooper K. J. Hamill Badge # 3413 (719-625-0385) asked me for the trailer permit, and Temporary Registration I told him I did not have them. Trooper Hamill went back to his car and ran the VIN #.He told me to get the equipment off the highway, and get it legal.I called Lori immediately, as I had just discussed in person the dangers and consequences of driving through Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah without proper documentation. She said continue on!I drove to my home in Colorado Springs to spend the night and decided at 2:00 am in the morning, ....(after not being able to sleep).... This was not going to continue and I called to have someone come pick up your truck, as I am no longer working for Bayless. Steve the GM came to my home around 10:00 am.I had him sign for the snow chains, loadbars and other equipment I had signed for when I started.I took pictures of everything to include my location and contents of the trailer, and pics of the Tractor and Trailer. I was not off route and I didn't abandon your equipment I abandon you as an employer! You need to acknowledge this fact before you get yourself in trouble.Do you know what perjury is? You may not have a problem committing this, but I wonder if Lori and Mikki and Steve and Arron would commit perjury for you? Do whats right Michelle. Get me paid! Thanks

Driver Bayless Trucking.

AUTHOR: Terry - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, February 06, 2011

My name is Terry, and I am currently a driver for Bayless Trucking. When a friend told me about this website and the slanderous report filed on it, I decided to throw in my two cents worth.
Granted, some of the equipment may be older, but its all in pretty good shape. If a driver does have a problem, all they have to do is let the shop know about it, it will be fixed right away. In fact, I can personally tell you about one time, Cliff (lead mechanic) drove over 150 miles, in a snow storm, in the middle of the night, to fix an airbag that blew out on my trailer on a trip. He did this because it was the quickest and best way to fix the problem at the time. I also know of other times when both Cliff and Aaron, (shop and truck Mgr) have done the same for other drivers as well, simply because it was necessary at the time.
As for the office staff, They are some of the kindest, hardest working people I know. They not only keep you as busy as you want to be, but are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the drivers are well taken care of and all is running smoothly. Treat them with kindness and respect, they will treat you the same. Get out of line with them and Michelle, (owner) has no problem with setting you straight. (Ask me how I know....)
As far as pay goes, I have used my own money for toll's and minor repairs upon occasion. As long as I turn in receipts, I get reimbursed promptly, and accurately. My pay has never been late, never wrong, and should I need an advance, never a problem.
I've only worked for Bayless Trucking about nine weeks now but as far as I can see, Not a bad place to be. Nothings perfect, but I personally have no complaints.
As trucking companies go, I believe Siskel and Eibert would give them two thumbs up, So do I.
                            Terry Feldman/ Driver Bayless Trucking.

Bayless Trucking

AUTHOR: Bayless Trucking - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, January 31, 2011

golf9iron AKA Mr. David Wilhelm...In response to your many posts....We were generous enough to give you an advance before you ever left our yard....Our "old" trucks are all Pete 379 extend a hoods (large cars), I am sorry that you do not like our style of truck (you would probably be happier driving a "fuel saver" with a larger company, I understand)...I am sorry that you did not take the initiative to ensure that all of your proper paperwork was in your truck before leaving with your load (Iwill remind you that our policy requires that in your pre trip inspection)...As far as your paycheck is concerned, I have a paper signed by you, David Wilhelm, that you agree that you received and agreed to the amount of your last paycheck and all due reimbursements... I also have a paper signed by you and I both that all paperwork has been turned in..I can also provide comcheck numbers with your signature endorsing all advances that you had taken... We have received our CSA 2010 audit and passed without any issues, the Department Of Transportation doesn't think we are ignoring the law in any way...You only worked for us for 4 weeks at which time you received PAID training and an average of $1,000 a week (I can provide you with copies of your pay stubs since you obviously misplaced them). If your finances are in a "tailspin" I am certain they were already that way before you started with us (4weeks of paid work would not have a great impact)...My response to the citations noted,, If you know of a trucking company with a large amount of trucks with absolutely no citations (our company has never been in an accident or put anyones life into jeopardy), I highly encorage you to go apply with them and stop slandering us...But I guarantee that they will "thumb there nose" at you abandoning there load....AND Quit does not have an E at the end of it!!

Mr. David Wilhelm....What you fail to mention in all of your posts is this....We were generous enough to give you an advance before you even pulled out of our yard...Our "old" equipment is all 379 Extend a hood Pete's (large cars) I am sorry that you don't appreciate that type of truck (you would be much happier driving for a larger company with newer "fuel Savers", I understand)...Maybe next time you should take some initiative to ensure that your truck and trailer has all of the proper and legal paperwork before you leave with a load (that is part of our companies pre trip inspection policy)....Quit does not have an E on the end of it by the way!!! I have a form signed by you, David Wilhelm, that you did indeed receive and agree with the amount of your final paycheck...3 thousand dollars is not only preposterous, but never before mentioned by you until now...I also have a form signed by me that I agree that I received all paperwork from you including all receipts that were indeed reimbursed to you, that form was also signed by you....The labor board has yet to contact me regarding ANY of this matter because you and I both know that there is no reason for them to...You were employed with us for 4 weeks, I highly doubt that after receiving $400 for training and $1000 a week for driving for us that we are the reason your finances are in a "tailspin"...Your trip paperwork states the amount that the load is paying, if it did not, you never called me to ask what that load was paying....We have had our CSA 2010 audit and passed without any issues, obviosly you have a different opinion then the Department Of Transportation...As far as the citations go, if you know a company that has not received any citations and has a large number of trucks, you should probably go apply with them and stop slandering us!!

$70.000 a year divided by 52 weeks is $1,346.00 a week!

I never made that in the total month I worked for them!

We all have financial obligations and when an employee is expecting around $1,346.00 a week! and gets $300.00, this becomes a financial problem real quick.

Very nasty and disrespectful attitudes at this company !!!

I ran over 10,000 miles in that month. the low end for an experienceddriver is .36 cents a mile.

You do the math!
