We saw an ad in the paper that said "1st month rent free 199 deposit to move in" I though hey great deal! So I called handed them the $199 deposit, but the thing was I moved in on August 8th 2006 and I only got free rent till September 1st. Also after living here now almost 6 months several things have gone wrong. First the furnace went out in January leaving our two children in the cold and it took them a month to install a new one finally because they kept coming out with old used parts to try to piece the old one back together.
Now the toilet in the master bathroom wont flush I've called them they came out and snaked it out said nothing was wrong, the toilet still dont flush and the water wont stop running.
This company has changed hands at least three times since we moved here, maybe not different owners but different offices run this place now.
I would not reccomend anyone EVER moving into one of their homes in Marion, Converse, or Peru indiana.
If anyone has had the same problems PLEASE post it here eventually somthing WILL get done about them!

BCMC Has Treated Me Fairly

I purchased a mobile home from BCMC 2 years ago and have lived at Woodland Hills since that time. I have NEVER had a problem with them. They have treated me fairly and have ALWAYS responded when I have had a problem, which has only been twice since I moved in. As for high water bills, mine only runs about $25.00 a month, which I think is pretty reasonable. D.G. Peru, In.

I am the Director of BCMC Communities. The report made by Adam is not as he has stated. Yes, there have been maintenance issues, which we did repair.
The move-in special was for the move-in month free, which Adam did receive.
Our company has not changed hands. We are the same owners and the same employees. Yes we did make some minor management changes, but the same employees have always been involved.
The bottom line is that Adam was evicted due to non-payment of rent in court and owes our company rent and damages. There is a court ordered judgement against him. This has clearly been done in retalitation!

This company evicted us with two children with no place to go, they refused to fix things that broke, we had ants so bad in our food, clothes, on the floors, the walls, the didnt even treat the area for the ants, they did not even care to reemburse us for the food we lost due to the ants getting into things.
Since we have moved out of this trailor park, there are five or six units that people have moved out of, so somthing is wrong here.
Also they jacked up the water prices SO much that we paid almost twice as much for water as we did in the town we lived in before.
