(BCTI) BUSINESS COMPUTER TRAINING is a Hoax's, Fraud and a RIPOFF! to students that really want to expand there education and get better Jobs so they can better themselves. Lacey Washington

When I first started BCTI I thought tuition was going to be like my 2 yrs of college or less. When one of there Advisors to me that it was $10,500 I thought she was joking. I even asked the lady if it was a joke. Then she went on and showed me some statictics that showed that the BCTI Lacey campus was at 80% in job placment for students.

After the advisor showed me that I told her that I didn't have that kind of money to pay. She went on to say that they have Financial Aid and that they have a really good Financial Aid consultant that can help students get approved so they can furhter there education. Long story short I signed up for Phase I.

After my first day of class I was kind of stunned because they started really basic like how to turn on a computer, I didn't think nothing of it at first because it was the first day of class and I thought it would become more challenging as time went on but it didn't.

When it came down to doing an assignment using the internet, that was a joke. You couldn't really do anything not even something as simple as checking your email, because it wasn't on there so called green list. I couldn't belive that at first that I am paying over 10k and I can't even check my email. When I asked what was up with that they told me that one student got caught looking at some Adult sites, and that was the reason they started the green list. For a computer insitute that you can't even use the internet without getting "Accsess Denied" on everything is not worth over 10k.

Everyday for an Hr they had a class called Professional Growth (pro growth) That class was a joke, because we practically did nothing there in that class except talk about what everybody did over the weekend.

As Phase I was coming to an end there so called teachers, and employment specialist would constantly try to pursaue students and brain wash them to move on to Phase II and fork out another $10,500 telling them that they would make twice as much money as Phase I students due to the fact that employers are more interested in hiring phase II students. There suppose to help find jobs for students upon graduation but that is not the case with BCTI. I would call or go to the campus asking if they had any job openings to fill and they would give me the same line of BS they would give everybody else, "if we hear anything or if something comes up we will let you know."

I pretty much feel, that I didn't get my moneys worth, and what I learned there like a previous person stated in one of the artilces I could have learned that from a book, or would have been better off going somewhere else to learn what little I learned there.

All I got from all of this was lack of sleep due to drving an hr to school, and working full time, and got stuck with a 18% interest loan from BCTI that I have to pay which is BS because it is not worth it!
