BCTI Business Computer Training Institute Was unable to get employment using their certificate. Tacoma Washington

After receiving financial aid for this course, and having been promised it was an accredited program and that the credits would transfer, I started the classes with great enthusiasim. I found out a short time later that this was not the case, and when I inquired into this, I was told that even if I dropped the course, I would not be able to stop the financial aid.

I continued with the course, hoping that I would be able to get a decent job with this certification. Well, that did not happen. I was told my certification was worthless. We tried to keep up with the student loan payments, but with two small children, and me unable to get a decent job, my husband was unable to keep up with them. My loan went into default. Dealt with collection agencies hounding us, and finally had to declare chapter 11.

I wish I had been notified years ago about the lawsuit. I only found out today, when filling out a job application, and needing the physical address, that there had been a suit.

If anyone is planning on getting a class action lawsuit going, I am interested. I feel that I was mislead, and the scholl misrepreseted itself to it's students.

If anyone has information regarding how to procedd, please advise. I attended the school in 1988, and 'graduated' with 16 credit hours.
