Beach Palm Cigars UNSMOKABLE CIGARS-DON'T STAY LIT. Internet

I am writing this in response to the complaint on behalf of 27 people who smoke the Beach Palm Cigars in my apartment complex.

In Cleveland, Ohio these Cigars are sold in stores at approximately $ 1.50 - $ 2.25 per pack.  Upon first smoking these all of us found the issue to be true that the cigars do not stay lit, if you stop smoking/puffing on them for longer than a minute, however, through some investigation of other cigars, both little and multiple sizes, we found this also to be the case. 

The reason for this is two fold, cigarettes are tobacco wrapped in paper, so they stay lit longer without smoking on them, although now new regulations have begun changing the way they are made so that this is not the case either, for fire hazard reason, and most cigarettes now, also will go out on their own without being puffed on for a length of time.  The tobacco in cigarettes is also dryer, so this contributes to a longer burning effect.  Cigar, even little ones are typically a moister tobacco, and are also, if geniune, wrapped in a whole tobacco leaf instead of paper.  These two things cause a cigar to go out if not continously puffed on to bring the fire more oxygen.

Now, in defense of the "Beach Palm" brand of cigars, we have not only found them to be more affordable than what we were smoking, (varying in prices from $ 4.00 - 8.00/pack) we have also found that these are now our preferred brand of smokes.  I myself, who used to smoke Newport Menthol 100's, have tried to smoke Newports again since, and have now found them not to be enjoyable at all.  They lack the rich flaver, and slight vanilla flavor that I have come to enjoy from the "Beach Palm" brand.

In affordabilty range, first of all, I smoked up to February of this year the Newport Brand at $6.35/pack, at the rate of 1 1/2 packs/day.  I now smoke at most 4 packs of the "Beach Palm" brand/week.  That is a savings to me of about $60/week.  Furthermore, I have come to win the battle of them going out, by first holding the lighter upon initial light longer to the cigar, while puffing to give a hotter burn, and then to lightly wave the cigars in the air while not puffing on them to keep them burning, as well as not leaving them in an ashtray while not smoking them.

Returns are accepted on unopened product. If the return is due to our error, we will pay the postage and correct the problem. If you wish to return an unopened product not caused by our error, you must pay the postage and we will credit you back minus a 10% restocking fee.

Since this problem would not be an issue that is the fault of the company, but the lack of experience in smoking cigars of the user, it would fall upon the the users responsibility.  Basically, before purchasing anything from anywhere, you should always know the return policy, and be prepared to adhere to it, if dissappointed for any reason.  I am not abating the disappointment of the user, however, the company itself is not at fault, and is following it's clearly posted and rules on returns.
