Bed Pros, Inc. Lied, Misrepresented their "thermapedic" mattress Promised satisfaction or money back for thirty days. Mattress failed after 2 days. Creep manager Jamie Feldcamp told us to go F ourselves. refused to Tampa, Florida

1/2/11 My wife and I went to Mattress Pros on Dale Mabry Hwy In Tampa, Fl to purchase a mattress. We were told that the "Thermapedic Bodywrap Visco Serenity" model was among their most highly rated units which had been developed with scientific sleep rating technology and had individually wrapped high quantity and quality inner springs. We were told that this mattress came with an unconditional 15 year warrantee.

Among other things, we were told that the mattress retails for 1200.00 but because of a special promotion going on we could have it for 1/2 price with full warrantee. We were also promised a no questions aked return policy for 30 days. Our salesman was a fast talking slob named Jamie Feldcamp who claimed to be the store manager. Our mattress was delivered 2 days later and we immediatley noticed that the mattress was losing its stitching at almost every stichpoint. i asked the delivery driver what was going on and he told us that all of the mattresses that are manufactured by Regal Mattress co. of Orlando, Fl. do the same thing.

Our delivery driver also told us that the mattresses were of poor quality and Bed Pros has been aware of it for some time. I later looked at similar mattresses in the Palm harbor store and saw that they were all losing their stitching.

This same driver mentioned that he was being asked to pick the mattresses up almost as fast as they were delivering them.

I remembered the salesmans promises so I figured I would call the store and have ours replaced. We slept on our mattress for two days and it developed a hump in the middle and the sides broke down making it feel as if I was going to roll out of bed onto the floor.

My wife called our salesman, Jamie feldcamp who was unbeleivably rude and told us that his company did NOT offer cash refunds, only what they call "comfort exchanges. I told him this was not what we were told at time of purchase and that we did not want another defective mattress. He offered us an overpriced upgrade which we told him we could get cheaper elsewhere.

At this point he became mouthy and rude telling us to "enjoy our mattress" Then hung up in my ear.

I called citibank and reversed the payment then called Jamie to ask him once again to pick up his mattress because we will not pay for it and he stated "we will see about that" once again hanging up on me. Run from these guys. DO NOT SHOP AT ANY BED PRO STORE. RIP OFF. DO NOT BUY ANY MATTRESS MARKED "REGAL, THERMAPEDIC, or BODYWRAP VISCO.

As a former store manager for Bed Pros I agree with the customer. I can tell you for a fact that Bed Pro's is all about the sale and not about the customer. Per the owners we never let a customer walk out of the store without a sale and if by chance they did we were forced to run outside the store, knock on the customer's car window then offer the customer a better price. High pressure sales tactics, lying to the customers on a regular basis, re-bagging old / customer returned beds with new manufacture sleeves and worshiping Pat was a prerequisite and standard procedure for employment. I would not recommended this company.

First of all, why should a satisfied customer look up Bed Pro's on Ripoff report?. This "satisfied customer report" is filed by Jamie Feldcamp. It also has no real relevance to my case because the people (whoever) rebutted my complaint bought a totally different mattress made by a totally different company so they only saw the nice side of jamie feldcamp and Matress Pro's, not the side you see if you try to complain. Google mattress pro's and see the complaints.

I was in Tampa this week specifically to file a lawsuit against the matress manufacturer, Bed pro's, and individually against hymie feldcamp.

Mattress pro's are a scam-rippoff organization and I will not rest until this wrong is righted.

No way This is the same guy

I got my new mattress at the Bed Pros store in South Tampa and I couldnt be happier with it the manager Jamie was great he explained everything in detail he knew everything there was to know about mattresses he even joked about knowing more about mattresses than anyone should and he wasnt kidding we went to six stores and nobody knew a quarter of what he did. You could tell he was a true professional he was friendly, knowledgeable, and he wasnt high pressure and didnt act like a car salesman. My wife and I both have bad backs and I sleep very hot after listening to us he recommended a few beds and we picked the Simmons NXG 600 with cool gel. I have never slept better or cooler in my entire life. Thank You Jamie and Bed Pros
