3/2011 we purchased a Simmons king mattress from Bed Pros in Clearwater. The mattress came with a 20 year manufacturers warranty. By 2/2013 the mattress had a 2 to 3 inch sag so we contacted the Clearwater store where  we purchased the mattress and spoke to Chad Bradley the store manager. He told
us to provide pictures to document the issue, which we did. Chad strongly advised us not to go through the manufacturer because they would take too long and cost more than double what his store would charge to get us a new mattress. From the start of our complaint about the mattress Chad was deceptive and
difficult to work with.

The mattress was unfit to sleep on so time was an issue for us. 3/2013 Chad informed us that our mattress was no longer being manufactured nd that we would need to pick out a new mattress of equal or higher value. He made a hard sell for the Active-Fusion latex mattress claiming it was all latex and would not leave body impressions. The reality is the mattress is only 5% latex; it is extremely hard, nothing like the store model and it has already left body impressions.

Bed Pros claims it has a 30 day comfort guarantee so we contacted Chad immediately and told him we were dissatisfied. He told us to give it at least 10 days because these mattresses needs to be broken in. He said
to walk on the mattress or to jump up and down on it or to drag it onto the floor and walk on it to break in the cells. I have never heard of a mattress that you have to do any of these things to break it in. Chad tried tosell us a mattress topper at an additional $600.00 dollars to make our bed more comfortable. We have already invested $1899.99 trying to get a sound, comfortable mattress. We attempted to talk to Chad further to get a satisfactory resolution and he was loud, belligerent and argumentative. He said there was no comfort guarantee on mattresses if there had been a warranty issue on a previous mattress and there was nothing more he could do. This was never explained to us before we purchased a bed with Bed Pros.

We asked to speak to Chads supervisor and we were told that there was no one above him and he makes all the decisions for the store. Clearly this isn't the case because he had to get approval to exchange our first mattress. Also Dave McCabe is listed as the owner of the company but has no contact information that I could locate nor would anyone provide it. I asked for a copy of our original paperwork on our first mattress and our new sales receipt; both copies had been altered and did not reflect accurate figures for our purchases.

BedPros has agreed to exchange our mattress for a new mattress of our choice. They also agreed to waive the delivery charge for the delivery and removal of the defective bed. They will be delivering our new mattress this coming week.
