Please do not any business with this company.  We feel like we have been robbed by this company.  Please read this carefully. 

We ordered bedroom furniture from Bedroom Furniture Discounts.com, and while ordering they offered to upgrade us to the "Platinum White Glove Delivery", this was not at our request but an offer they made which includes the unpacking, assembly, and placement of the product.  During the placement in the home, since it was assembled in driveway, my wife noted some damage and some manufacturing defects.  BFD's delivery team told her that they could not take the furniture when she tried to refuse it, and told her to contact Bedroom Furniture Discounts.com directly. 

We immediately were in contact and took numerous pictures of the damage and defects.  After numerous calls, expect very few calls back from them, a furniture repairman was sent, who claimed there is no way for all of the damage and the defects to be repaired. The repairman than wrote and sent a report to BFD stating that the damage and defects were too severe and the furniture needed to be replaced or refunded.  Well this certainly changed Bedroom Furniture Discounts.com's mind, now they said we should never have accepted the furniture.  Now wait a minute, they said they were sending the repairman to make an assessment and now they don't like it, so they must change direction.

Bedroom Furniture Discounts.com quickly sets aside their morals, their satisfaction guarantee and any ethical feelings that may have lingered and brought up their return policy.  This does clearly state all of the requirements, the one that really sticks out is the one that states "Altered and assembled products may not be returned."  Hey wait a minute, you brought the product to my house assembled it in the driveway as part of the "Platinum White Glove Delivery" that you offered up to us "at no additional charge". 

So here we are in a battle between right, the customer, and wrong, Bedroom Furniture Discounts.com, two months now with no good resolution in sight.  Did I mention that all but one piece of furniture was missing the legs, so it is all sitting on the floor flat?  Ridiculous I know, and at know point has Bedroom Furniture Discounts.com tried to get us any more legs.

I continue to be amazed at the lack of responsibility that Bedroom Furniture Discounts.com takes on any this trying to get to a resolution, we have offered numerous opportunities for repair or  replacement early in the process, now that we are this far into the battle, we are seeking a full refund.

Stay away from them! They don't stand behind their damaged furniture!

Stay away from this company and Altair Balmeo! I ordered a Bob Mackie Dining Room set. Delivery is delayed, They deliver furniture that is damaged. Because of the late hour on a Friday and darkness you find imperfections the next morning to report. I photograph and email immediately. They don't honor because it wasn't written on the delivery sheet that the hastily leaving delivering driver had me sign. Upon delivery the driver tells me to contact the company directly with any problems, and they'll take care of it. I have a dining room table with damaged finish. A month later the leather Bob Mackie leather chairs start to split. Anyone can see that the chairs were cut by either the packing material or the strapping of the chairs during delivery. All the chairs have problems in the exact same location. The chairs were damaged and not able to see upon delivery. Once they were sat on, they split. Not in the seam where their sewn, but in the actual leather where they have a cut.

Altair and this company refuse to do anything but offer a $100.00 store credit from them! Just what I want to do is to buy more inferior products. I have purchased some other chairs to complete the set from another source, cheaper, and their perfect! Altair sells you the white glove service, and then runs when there's damage that is their fault. They also claim that they have reviewed it with the manufacturer. It's not the American Drew Bob Mackie's fault. It's Altair and his company! They don't stand behind their products and will do anything they can so they don't have to fix or replace. RUN from this company, even if you have to pay more!!!
