I joined Beezid to see what it was like as I am a usuall penny auction bidder at another site.

Here is what I have learned about Beezid:

  1. Free Auction Items:
    1. Yes it is free to bid on Beezid "Bid Packs"
    2. You must be aware that the system is setup with "fake" bidders unit a reserve price is met.
      1. 300 Bids - Reserve Price is $25.00
      2. 500 Bids - Reserve Price is $40.00
      3. 1000 Bids - reserve Price is $80.00
    3. The "fake" bidders will keep bidding against you until that reserve is met.
    4. As soon as the reserve is met - no more bidders! How funny... YOU WIN - or do you? See next---
  2. Real Auction Items
    1. Once you start bidding on any "item of value" ie: Playstaion 4 - TV - Laptop... you recieve a call or email to call "Steve", who is a bidding "coach".
    2. Steve will explain that in order to win, you need "thousands" of bids. He will sell you 6,000 bids for $550 to "almost" guarentee you a win.
    3. While others are buying bid packs, they (Beezid) focus on assuring a win for only one person, all the others will just lose.
    4. If you look at the cost of any high ticket item, they are always associated with "promo bids" which adds to the value of the prize.
      1. Let's see how this shakes out money wise:
        1. You want to win a Playstation 4
        2. With the promo bids attached to the item, Beezid values it at $699.00
        3. You purcahse some bids and start bidding...
        4. "Steve" calls you and says he sees your are bidding on the Playstation 4
        5. "Steve" offers you an "almost guarenteed" win with the purchase of 6,000 bids for $550
        6. If you still do not win the Playstation 4, you can use the "Buy it Now" option
        7. The value of the Playstaion is $399 - with the additional propom bids, Beezid values the win at $699
        8. You have just spent $550 for a "almost guarenteed" chance to win it...
        9. If you don't win, you now pay an additional $150 for the "Buy it Now" option.
        10. What you now have is a Playstion 4 and 400 "useless" promo bids
        11. What you have spent in real money was at least $699.00
      2. Plus Beezid takes all the money from the other bidders who buy real bids or win bids from the "free to bid" bid packs.
      3. None of these other bidders have much of a chance since Beezid is "coaching" one person in the group with 6,000 bids.
      4. Beezid wins by suckering in the "coached" person into spending twice as much as outright buying the item
      5. Beezid wins by taking in money from all the other "unkowing" people bidding on these items.
    5. If you are luckey enough to beat the system by bidding when Beezid was unable to find a "coaching" sucker, like I was on an XBox One Titanfall Edition the following happened:
      1. They did not ship an XBox Titanfall edition - they shipped a "Standard" edition
      2. They did allow me to send it back and they...
      3. Replaced it with another "Standard" Edition
      4. They told me they would send me vouchers for the Titanfall download and replace the Kinect, which did not work.
        1. They could not provide me with a tracking number
        2. These items never were shipped to me
      5. They then promised to send me the correct item I won
        1. They could not give me a tracking number
        2. This was never shipped to me
      6. Week #6 since win...
        1. They now wish to start all over again

Fake bidders with reserve auctions, Auctions setup for "one" person to win, bait and switch, and terrible customer service is what you get at Beezid.
