Initially, I had my car towed to Jones Junction Nissan on 07/02/08 at which time Jones charged me $98.00 for "repaired wiring to mass air sensor.

I had the same problem happen to me on 09/28/08, my car cut off again and was undriveable. I had my car towed to my home and on 10/04/08 I had my car towed again to Jones Junction. I explained the problem I was having to Josh Craven in The Service Department. He said "if this is the same problem once we check the vehicle out you will not be charged but if it is a different problem you will be charged". Josh then called me back on my cell phone a few hours later and told me that the vehicle would cost around $1100.00 because the part (mass air sensor) costs $900.00 plus tax and labor. He said the last time they tried to save you money. I told Josh that I would have to discuss this with my husband. I discussed it with my husband who then called Josh back himself. Josh explained the same procedure and cost to my husband $1100.00.

When then went home from where we were and started calling around to auto part stores and other Nissan dealerships and parts department and we found out that the part cost between $300.00-560.00 and even Jones Junction parts department it cost $561.00 (according to Jim). We continued to call on Monday morning and got the same responses.

My husband then called the Service Manager Daryl Nay and explained what had happened, the fact that this is same problem as two months ago, the fact that Josh Craven told us it would cost $1100.00 and Daryl acted as if he was helping us and got the bill down to around $700.00 as he stated that the part was $561.00 and $100.00 for diagnostic plus tax and labor.

I then called Rosemary Bernard at Jones Junction (who's name is on the receipt from Jones to call if you were not 100% satisfied with you service experience. I explained the situation to her and my displeasure with being targetted because I am a woman (thinking that since she is a woman she would understand my pain). She listened and said she would have Geoffrey Blakely Parts and Services Director, to call me back just as soon as he got out of his meeting.

Mr. Blakeley called me back around 10:15 a.m. on Monday 10/06/08. He was extremely rude and cut me off several times during my explaining of what happened. He did not want to hear anything, he just kept saying "I don't know, I have been off for the past few days". My husband seeing me get upset then gets on the phone on another handset which amplifies your voice (it is something wrong with that handset). Mr. Blakley said " I only ask that you not yell at me" at which time I gave my husband my handset (seeing that this was going no where) I got off of the phone. My husband asked why was the price different then what the part cost in the parts department which he did not know. Mr Blakley asked "do you want us to fix the vehicle or not". My husband told him no and let him know that we would have to consult our attorney at which time he said "we have nothing more to talk about then".

We then went to pick up our car. My husband was speeching with Daryl Nay, who asked Mr Blakley if he wanted to come out and speech with the Rogers and he responded shaking his hands and head and did not come out. My husband and Mr Nay were coversing about what happened and if the car was indeed repaired. Mr Nay says the new part was put on to test and see if that was the problem and that the part could be easily removed. My husband asked why was Josh Craven trying to charge $330.00 labor if that part could go on and come off with ease then rudely and abruptly Mr Blakely came out and asked my husband if he were here to pick up the vehicle when he said yes and Mr Blakely said then there if nothing else to be talking about. I then said you did not want to come out at first so why are you out here now????

The tow truck driver then came and we left after Mr Nay came out to confront us again.
