I have had an account with Beneficial for almost two years
and only $20.00 has been applyed to the principal.Last year I paid them $4000.00 and not one penny went to pay off this loan.They claim that last Oct. I bounced a check with them,and I am behind on payments(interest short).It is not possible for me to bounce checks because of overdraft protection!
I am being ripped-off and so are many others.

After I threatened them with legal action,the person I talked to told me they would backdate my account to Feb. 02. I thought maybe I was getting somewhere with them but they pulled another fast one on me.
Beneficial started to allow me to enjoy a small taste of seeing my balance come down.
Starting on 5/10/02 I saw $9.88 come off my balance.Now I am up to a big $11.82 or .05 cents extra a week. T
he principal has gone down about $450.00 in three years. What is wrong with this picture? They are getting rich off of me and many more hardworking people.

After speaking with at least three customer service reps they finally agreed to backdate my account to Feb. 02.I have heard this story before and will not believe this untill I see it in writing.They finally admitted that I did not bounce a check but it was a banking error when I enrolled in there FastPay where they debt my checking account.I will not be satisified untill they backdate back to Feb. 01 where at least some of the $4000.0I paid to them last year goes towards the principal of this account.I have been ripped-of by a bunch of moneyhungry bastards and so has many other hard working people. But this is America and hard working Americans get the shaft every day.
