Beneficial, Household Finance They gave me a refund but now I still owe them money Ripoff Brandon Florida

I had a loan with Beneficial and paid it off in July 06. Since they are notorious for taking an ACH pmt after the loans are paid off I stopped the pmt. I get a letter saying "congratulations your loan is paid off" Then a month later I get a refund check for 758.00. Great everything is paid and done. NO!!!!!!!!! 2 months later I get a call saying that I owe them 1,300.00 then one saying I owe 1.100.00 then one saying 800.00 and finally they settle on 742.00 which is the payment I stopped.

My complaint with them is they did the final audit and sent the refund and now they are coming back and saying I owe them. Because they hire idiots in the research dept that can't do their job and send checks out that people should not get I am getting harrassed. Oh and now I owe them 1,600.00 dollars they are adding 742.00 and late fees each month. I am so waiting to go to court with this company so they can look like a fool in front of a judge..

DO NOT use this company they will rip you off every time...
