I’ve been trying to get funds that are held hostage in my “old” and closed HSA account for nearly two years!  I’ve called, filled out forms, mailed forms back and NOTHING has happened. 

I’m beginning to think that this service is a huge scam. Every month a maintenance fee (maintenance fee for what?) is deducted, yet I cannot login (because account is closed) or get money dispersed from a recorded phone call (even though the company has all of my personal information including my social security number).  I have mailed a form back (lost by BenefitWallet) and that didn't work, either. 

It’s clear that Benefit Wallet is simply in using my money (and probably the money of a number of other people) to earn additional interest, make investments, or simply keep their horrible business afloat. 

To simply get another form sent to me today via email, I was on the phone for 30 minutes with a representative and her manager.  This is not customer service and Benefit Wallet is not a customer-centric company.  I mailed the form back today, although I am not hopeful that it will work. 

Interestingly, when I tried to reach someone higher up in the company, the manager said her manager was "in a meeting." I didn't believe that, she said it so fast.  When I asked for the name of who was ultimately incharge of the entire operation - the company president - the manager said she didn't know.
