Benjamin "Ben" Veum is a local drug dealer in Santa Rosa California. He takes a bus to San Francisco and purchases pot, cocaine, and hallucinogenic mushrooms with money he inherited from his grandmother. Ben then sends these drugs through the mail to his home town in Wisconsin. From there his friends receive these drugs and sell them to other college kids and even younger kids. Ben doesn't care who he sells these drugs to as long as he sells them for extra funds for partying and extravagant weekends. Ben's profits are big on most weeks but when down he just uses grandmothers money to make up for the loss. Ben uses drugs all day everyday and can't function without them. He says he uses them as recreational and to "Calm Him Down" but never is calm and is far more than recreational. Ben steels money for these drugs sometimes so that his parents don't notice he is using more than he should of grandmothers money. Ben claims he is going to college to learn farming but to be realistic he has moved out here from Wisconsin to grow pot that he can ship back to his home town. Ben has sold pounds of pot since he has lived here and he seeks to sell many many more pounds than that is what he says. Ben is also selling large amounts of cocaine and hallucinogenic mushrooms to his friends back in Wisconsin and is just getting started as he says. Ben lies and should not be trusted as a person or around money. It's sad that this is what he spends his grandmothers money on and the fact that Ben is destroying young peoples lives. Ben goes to the junior college here in Santa Rosa and sells drugs to the students that are supposed to be learning but are distracted by Ben and his drugs.
