Amanda McLachlan is not to be trusted. I hired Amanda McLachlan a Toronto Lawyer to help me settle a dispute, however all Amanda McLachlan managed to do is turn by settlement into world war 3.  Suddenly 3 days of examinations were scheduled.  And now for the punch line, just a couple of days before the scheduled examination, Amanda Mclachlan and Lincoln Caylor demanded I pay an additional $40,000.00 or she would not go with me.  After she threatened to quit and held me up for what is best described as ransom, I paid her the money.  However, Just before the examination, suddenly she advises me she had managed to settle the case.  I thought great, now I can get my money back because she did not need to spend 3 days examining the people and so my legal fees would be saved, or so I thought. Amanda McLachlan tells me that the $40,000.00 has been already spent for the time she spent negotiation the settlement. I figured out that she was lying and got me to pay additional monies for 3 days of examinations that she knew would not happen because I am sure that she had accepted the settlement offer previously.  So I taxed her account.

 For those who dont know what this means, you have 30 days to complain to the Law Society if you have been over charged by any dirt bag lawyers.   After taxing , I was at least able to retrieve $32,000 but I still know that she weaseled me somehow, do not trust this woman.
