I made 5 payments, 1 per month from April to August 2012 and the remaining $5000 balance was in exchange for a lease on one of my ponies which usually is $15k for the year to lease.

High Honors is not blind and she uses this M.O. when stealing ponies and getting out of paying for them. They are lame, or have other issues. She i the ones very confused as I have texts that say she had a blind rider training High Hhonors.

I agreed to pay $25 per live foal and have been deducting it from the amount she owes me. She begged me to do so so her daughter would have money for college.

My assistant asked for the Bill of Sale which was not provided but was provided to me from the USEF nine months later. The pony was sold without my knowledge and she did not produce the bill of sale and I had to ask the USEF to send me a copy. I am not even sure money did not go under the table as the pony was worth so much more than $2500. School horses cost more than that.

I have owned the stallion for 2 years and bred him and after the High Hhonors sale she is now saying I did not pay for him nor pay her for breeding him, all of which is not true.

Per the Bill of Sale she sold 100% of High Hhonors.

This is simply not true as none of my animals has ever recieved a positive drug test, even Humble who was tested for over 1100 substances and nothing nefarious was found. I do not use aliases.

Blackie, who I own 75% of and Bernadette owns 25% never foundered and is sound and in full work. The only time her ever saw a vet except for routine care was in Tampa, where the footing is so hard. He became foot sore and I immediately took him to the vet and she prescribed anti-inflammatories and said there werre many cases due to the footing. He is a very difficult ride, which is why Bernadette sent him to me and the only one who has been successful on the circuit with him is my daughter. He needs a pony jock and I will not sell him to a beginner or intermediate rider. 

.she is a danger and no one will deal with her .i was told to get away and i have now she is pissed..she needs help and i want her out of my life she is distructive vindictive and yes crazy..i am sorry  i ever got into this deal with her!! i know she will never stop so i will just do what everyones tells me and stay away for her and hope she gets help!!!

I have a successful business and very loyal customers. Pictures of them and the animals I have sold them are posted all over my facebook pages.

The only pictures I see on Bernadette's pages is Woodland's Magnolia who was shown more than 12 weeks in a row (I lost count) and then was shown at Pony Finals after a one week break. This is a 14 year old pony and should not have been to show after show after show. She may even be older. 

Bernadette's page also has pictures of Precious Cargo who she foundered and let lay in a stall for month after month after month until it had bedsores. It must have been in excrutiating pain but Bernadette wanted her to have a foal for her own selfish reasons. As soon as the pony could stand again, she bred her and she just had her foal. She is not bright eyed and may still be in pain from all of the extra weight loaded on her front feet. I am told she also bred a pony that was in her mid twenties. 

She changes names and breeding records of ponies, says she bred them when she did not and even though I showed proof to the USEF of the same. When she wants to resurface a pony, she retires it, renames it, changes its birthdate and breeding information. USEF tells me they have a file on her that is sitting in the legal department. I have all the documentation to support the above. 

A letter was mailed to various breeders about her to warn people of her. I will attach it to this rebuttal. I had nothing to do with this letter and it was presented to me by a very well known breeders.

Her lawyer, Rachel Mc Cart, refuses to represent her anymore as she has not paid her and I am sure she did not realize what a con artist this woman was. McCart is waiting for a judge in NY to relieve her from representing Bernadette Garcia. 

She owes everyone money; farrier, feed store, shippers and I am sure the list goes on. 

She has conned so many people that it must come to an end. She plays on unsuspecting breeders and for 15 years has been telling people she is dieing of cancer to gain sympathy. I have no idea if she really had cancer or not but I sat by my mothers bedside for three months watching her die of stomach cancer and cancer should not be used to gain sympathy.

I am not revealing any of their stories as that is for them to do. I do have documentation of many of her cons and new people contact me on a weekly basis. They do not go after her because it would cost more in lawyers fees than the amount of the loss. She talks a good game and had me totally fooled. She is a serial scammer and liar (the check is in the mail, my assistant forgot to send it, the wired did not go through or when the check bounces, she says she mistakenly took a check form an old account). She tries to lie her way out of her unscrupulous behavior and people just give up after a while because she doesnt not answer her phone, emails or text and when she does she goes into crazy rants. She has even told some of the people that she has conned that she will turn their ponies into hamburger meat. She told one unsuspecting victim that the slaughter house was on their way to pick up their animal.

She used to call me her fairy godmother because I would do her favors and give her reduced pricing. I leased a pony for her to be shown at Pony Finals for $5000 plus training, stabling and show fees and she never even paid me a commission. In fact, I paid for shipping the pony to pony finals because she told me she did not have the money to do so and she never reimbursed me. 

Run....run far away!
