Best Buy #950 Product Exchange Plan St Catharines Ontario Canada

I bought my a cell phone for my wife,  and they we're so nice at that time when they explained the Product Exchange Plan that as they claimed will cover if anything happens to the phone. A couple of years after, the phone started malfunctioning,  so we went back to the store, this time, you can feel the change in the tone of voice, since we were going to make a claim.  The staff that we talked to checked the phone and said there was condensation damage to the phone which was not covered by the plan and that told us it is better if we upgrade our plan and get a new phone.  Really??? So we called their 1800 number bto cancel the Plan and we were told that we cannot cancel before the expiry date because we signed a three year contract.  Anyway,  I guess that is how Best Buy's interpretation of their companies mission and vision - best buy cares. I will never buy anything from best buy or future shop (same company now) again.
