I bought my son a computer from Best Buy Store #284 in Elyria Ohio. I told the girl I wanted Microsoft Office because he was in high school. She said no problem and put a disc in the computer. When we got home, I tried putting in the product code to activate Microsoft. It would not work, at all. Upon calling Best Buy, the girl looked up our account and stated we never purchased the software. She said that Other stuff was put on and then said I could purchase Microsoft Office for $229. MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED BECAUSE THEY ARE NO HELP IF YOU CALL THEM. BE SURE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. SHE PUT A PROGRAM ON OUR COMPUTER THAT WE DIDN'T ASK FOR AND CHARGED US FOR ANOTHER.

Hey, did you ever think this was a mistake?
Did you check your receipt?
Did you SEE the disk?
If you so called installed it, did you see what you put in?
I had the same problem two years ago, but had a receipt to prove it. They gave me the wrong one, and exchanged it with no problem.
Lesson learned... Review your receipt. Best Buy is not to blame, only you!

Would you buy a car, and ask for a CD player, navigation system, or otherwise without checking the receipt of itemized items?
