Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

We are on a limited income and since my husband had to retire because of the economy and job situation here he was forced to go on Social Security.  He receives his check in the middle of the month.  Best Buy had set our due date on the 12th or 13th and since he is now on social security we have tried numerous times to move the due date to the 15th which is only a few days.  They refuse to help us which is odd since every other credit card was more than willing to change it.

This is extremely poor and ignorant customer service and I will be sure to NOT recommend them to anyone wishing to buy anything from them or even shop in their store.  Their bank must be in very poor shape since they can't accommodate their customers.   It's no wonder they are barely hanging on in this economy since they are unwilling and refuse to help their customers.

What's the problem?

I don't see how this is a rip-off.

First, why should they have to move their due for you? You borrowed the money, agreed to the terms, etc. When they borrow from you, you can set the payment date to any time you want.

Second, and most importantly, why would you ever need to have a due date moved? You can't expect every bill to be due AFTER he gets his check. That's just silly talk.

Responsible people pay their bills on time. That means if a bill is due on the 14th and you don't get paid until the 15th, that isn't an excuse to pay late or expect businesses to make changes for you. Lazy people expect that kind of thing and only deadbeats cry about those kinds of problems.

If you get paid even a day after a bill is normally due, then it's real simple, you save some money from the previous check to pay it. In other words, if you're paid monthly on the 15th and a bill is due on February 14th, then you got your money to pay that bill back in January. You save some of that and paid on time, no excuses. Then when you get your February check the next day, guess what? You put a little of that aside again for the March bill that you know will be due just before you get your March check.

Budget yourself. Be responsible.
