Levi at Best Moving and storage had me over the phone give him a list of items packed in 2 storage buildings I had not seen for 8 months. I told him there is no way I can give him that as I had not seen it in 8 to 12 months.  He finally said ok but still sent over a list of the items I knew we had.  As soon as he did an agreed rate of $2526.00 to move my stuff 561 miles and had me pay the down which was 476.00 apx.  As soon as they collected out of my bank the down, I started getting calls from 5 different people at that company which I had not talked to that knew nothing of what I had and began to try to raise the rate.

     I then did not trust that company, I called to cancel the move.  Levi calls me and assures me that they will do all for this rate.  In there contract you must cancel within 7 days prior to the move in order to get just 50% back.  It was 7 days before the move when I tried to cancel and Levi assured me it would be fine and all will be good.

     Truck shows up , Driver wants me to drive him to see everything because I would not allow him to put it on the truck until I knew it would be the agreed rate.  Driver says no it will be $4000.00 just to take part of it. I said no it will not be.  I called trying to get Levi and they said he is out today.  Now, driver says well don't you need this moved today.   I fired the truck, Went straight to Uhaul rented a 26 ft low profile van truck just like they came in.  I hired 2 men to help me load it.  I am a 61 year old woman with Lupus and fibromialgia  and graves diease.  We loaded that truck the next day and the following day I drove that truck to my home in Nebraska.  I hired 4 men to unload the truck and arrange it in my home. 

Never hire a moving company.  I do not have a commercial drivers liscense, but you do not need them for 26ft truck. 

So I have requested my 50% of my down payment back 3 times.  Funny, I get 5 calls trying to raise my rate from people that do not even know what I am moving, but no one awnsers back when you request just half I paid for nothing When I tried to cancel that truck but was assured by Levi that price stands.
