I want everyone to know that Best Price Cameras is a complete scam. If you order online you will not receive what you think you are buying. I ordered a Canon EOS 40D camera package, when I didn't receive an email confirmation I called to get one. I called customer service, but reached a salesperson instead who proceeded to pressure me into buying a different package which was supposed to be better than the one I bought. Then "Steven" told me that I should buy a 400 dollar battery, since the camera I bought didn't come with one. According to bestpricecameras.com all products are shipped just as if the manufacturer had shipped it. Apparently, according to bestpricecameras.com it is okay to falsely advertise to consumers online, but illegal everywhere else. That same day I tried to cancel the order after the final price was way higher than quoted and when the order arrived there were many more problems. The lenses were crappier than the ones I had purchased online, the memory card wasn't the size I was told it would be, and the lenses were not even Canon like advertised. I was told there was nothing that could be done to cancel my order, so once you place an order on their website or over the phone there is nothing they can do. I'm sure if I had thought about I could have canceled the payment with my credit card company. Best Price Cameras website is nothing more than a online base for false advertising and lying to consumers that they have a product for sale when they really don't. Best Price Cameras' also has a policy that all returns cannot be returned without a Return Authorization Number, which you have to call and stay on hold for at least thirty minutes and then argue with the person on the other end on why they should give it to you. I spent half the day trying to get this number, but the most important problem with this already backwards, thieving, corrupt business is that there is a minimum 10% restock fee. So depending on the day one of their employees is having, Best Price Cameras can charge what ever they desire just so the customer suffers at all cost. Best Price Cameras is nothing more than an legalized bunch of Crooks, Thieves, and Liars. I have noticed that more than a couple of people have been burned by Best Price Cameras, companies like this cannot be allowed to get away with crimes like this. We as consumers need to come together and fight, we can close down this company. It must have happened before because Best Price Cameras has had other names like; www.infinitycameras.com, www.infiniticameras.com, www.mraccessory.com, www.regencycamera.com, www.hellocamera.com, www.beststopcamera.com, www.jandkcameras.com, www.eastcoastdistributor.com, www.citywidedigital.com. We cannot allow for these people to keep ripping people off and getting away with crimes that wouldn't be allowed anywhere else. Please people we can't allow this to continue. Lying to consumers, False Advertising, Pressuring customers, non responsive customer service is all Best Price Cameras is known for.
