Best Price Photo Deceptive, unprofessional, not worth the money, Internet

January 28, 2012 I ordered a Canon Mark 5D II that was supposed to ship in 7-9 days. When it did not come I called to get the status. They said it was on back order. Fair enough, although I was never told. They said it would arrive Feb 4th and would be "expressed" at their expense.  In the meantime the camera was listed for $50 less than what I paid. I called to ask if I could get the new price? They said, "sure!"

Feb 4th the camera did not arrive. I called and they said it would arrive Feb 17th. Each time it sounded like the same person, he never gave me his name, but I never asked, but I could tell it was the same guy.

Feb 17th it did not arrive. I called to get the "new" ship date. They said it would ship Mar 9th.

Mar 9th it did not arrive. I called and they said the did finally get it from their vendor and it would be shipped and I would get an e-mail. The following week I did get an e-mail with the Fed Ex tracking # and it was not expressed like they promised. It was sent ground (7-9) days. It was also not at the promised price so I called.

That was when I spoke with "Jeff" and got the ___ chewing of my life. He told me I shouldn't "nickle and dime" him by asking for the lower price (I was simply asking because I was told I would get that price). He told me I couldn't because they "don't do that." I asked who I spoke with and he said he didn't know. I told him I thought it was him each time and he said it was "Chris" one time and "Erik" another time. I asked to speak with their manager and he told me HE OWNS the company and there is no one above him. Another time he told me he is simply a "call center" for various websites. Things simply don't add up.

He also told me he did not have my tracking number and could not give it to me. He told me it was "another vendor" that had the tracking number. But then mid call when he was upset with me the call went silent, I assumed he hung up so I hung up. I called back and he simply said, "hello?" I asked to speak with someone else and he said, "No, you're not going to go around and aroung with this. You hung up on me." I told him I thought he hung up and he said, "I put you on hold to call Fed Ex to cancel your order." I never told him to cancel it?! Why would he do that? And he told me he didn't have the Fed Ex tracking number?! It was SO bizaar. By the end I just said, "please just send the camera." I was begging him.

At one point when I called I was told the warranty is not through Canon, but that it is through them (oh no...). This time when I called he told me my warrant IS through Canon and that is why I am being charged more?!

Now I am sincerely afraid because he has all my info and is clearly an unethical, deceptive person. I hope I have no other dealings with this company. I learned from my mistake not to try to get a good deal. It was not worth it.
