Best Western & Braddock Inn are Liars, Cheats and Most Definitely NOT worth spending your MONEY on.

My family reserved Two rooms ate the Braddock Inn  Lavale, MD. in April 2017 for a Family Reunion in July 2017.They Charged our Credit Card the entire amount in ADVANCE to Reserve the rooms.

Due to unexpected Medical treatments in May and June we were told by our Family Dr. on July 11, 2017,  that a 1200 mile trip up to MD. was not advised.

We called Both the BRADDOC INN @ Lavale, MD. and the BEST WESTERN CORPORATE OFFICE today to Cancel our reservations.

They REFUSED to CANCEL our reservations or to REFUND the ($547.14) Credit Card CHARGE they applied to our Card.

Not a rip-off

POSTED: Friday, July 21, 2017

On July 19th you posted that on July 11th you were advised by your doctor not to travel. You stated that you requested the cancellation on that day, July 19th. Then on July 20th you wrote that you requested the cancellation two weeks prior to the arrival date. You previously stated that the reservation was for a date in July. Two weeks from July 19th is August 2nd. August is not July. Perhaps that is why you evaded my question, “What was the cancellation deadline?” You also evaded my question, “What was the lie?

Nothing in your report supports your claim of a rip-off.

I tried to canceled my reservations (2) Two weeks in advance of our expected arrival date, for Medical reasons. The Best Western_Braddock Motor Inn did not suffer Any financial loss as a result of my change of planes due to Medical reasons. They are refusing to Refund my ( $547.15) reservation fee they charged my family.

I hope any and ALL potential future customers of theirs find Somewhere else to stay while in the Cumberland, MD area.

“Best Western & Braddock Inn are Liars”

What was the lie?

They may have turned away potential customers because the rooms were reserved. The motel should not be expected to suffer a financial loss due to your change of plans.

Apparently you attempted to cancel after the cancellation deadline. What was the cancellation deadline? Why did you wait eight days before you attempted to cancel the reservation?

The motel reserved the rooms as requested. They honored the agreement.
