This company charges half of the loan balance per month to extend the payoff date. They charged me over $600 dollars per month on a $1100 dollar loan, reducing the balance by only $40 a month, while interest charges were added to increase the balance due. By contract, they were to withdraw the outstanding balance on the first payment. Every time I tried to arrange a payoff, they told me I was calling past the due date and they had no choice except to charge me $300 every two weeks to extend the due date. I never requested an extension. 

This is a loan that is almost impossible to pay off. I spoke with a "supervisor" named Sharon, who laughed at me and stated that their company was not bound to observe any laws or regulations in California, even though they do business in this state.
